Introduction

The telecom division of GNEC consists of engineers, planners and designers with a focus on the design and deployment of smart city infrastructure and technologies for municipalities. The division was created to address the current gaps in the full range of resources available to municipal agencies, including needs assessments, planning, detailed design, procurement, construction administration, and operation and maintenance of their communication infrastructure such as:

  • Fibre optic cables
  • Telecom duct in the trench, micro-trench and narrow-trench
  • Smart streetlights
  • Intelligent traffic systems
  • 5G antenna systems support (Comm. and Power)
  • IoT and gateway support infrastructure
